Standard Container
These are Dry containers with mostly size of 20' / 40' . These are most common type of container, and used to load most types of normal cargo.
High Cube Container
Looks same like standard container but are taller by about 1 foot. Size 40' or 45'.
These are used in cases where a bigger volume capacity is required
Tank Containers
Tankers or Tank containers, are made of strong materials for the transportation and protection of liquid materials. A tank container must be at least 80% full to prevent dangerous surging of liquids in transit, but not be over 95% full for sufficient room for thermal expansion.
Reefer Containers
Reefer container is used for temperature sensitive or perishable cargo such as produce meats, seafood. They rely on external power to keep the temperature regulated. Come in 20’ and 40
Insulated Containers
Insulated or thermal container are equipped with an electrical compliance or mechanical compressor to cool or heat the air within the container , and has a regulated temperature control that allows them to withstand a higher temperature. They are typically constructed of a vacuum flask, like a "thermos" bottle.
Flat Rack Containers
These containers have foldable sides that can used to make a flat rack. end walls are strong enough to allow cargo securing, used for shipping oversized goods , like heavy machinery, construction materials.
Open Top Containers
These are 20' or 40' open top containers, that have a top that can be completely removed. used for cargo that is over-height and cannot be loaded through the door, like machinery or other bulky products , whose loading can only be performed with a crane or something. They are installed with lashing rings to upper and lower side rails and corner , to secure cargo.
